Herbal Products

Traditional Chinese Herbal products come in several forms, such as in raw form, powder, pills, capsules, and plasters.  In our office, we use powdered herbal extracts that are highly potent, safe, and easy to use on the part of the patient.  These herbal extracts are purchased from a company that only sells to licensed acupuncturists and are imported from Taiwan.  These herbal extracts are safe and effective, as Taiwan regulates herbs just as strongly as Western pharmaceutical products, therefore exceeding U.S. safety standards for herbal supplements.  These products are regularly tested for impurities and toxins.  Since they are in powder form, they are extremely simple to take and require no cooking or any other preparation on the part of the patient.  Patients are provided measuring spoons to measure the exact dosage of the herb to take, then mixed with warm water to be taken as tea.  Here are the comparisons between different herbal forms.
